There could be a mixed team composed of some students, some researchers and also former students that have already set up in business.
Yes. All undergraduate and postgraduate students of UNICA Member Universities as well as researchers who have completed their studies at UNICA Member Universities within the last 5 years can participate in the UNICA Competition. In fact, UNICA Member Universities could also endorse a group composed of students from a UNICA Member University and of students studying at a University which is not a UNICA Member. It is the applying University which has to choose the team/project and submit it to UNICA.
Yes, PhD counts as studies. Researchers up to 5 years after the PhD can also participate.
There is no minimum or maximum number. It depends on the project. However, a team should be composed of at least two persons…
1. Some members of the team could be non-UNICA students/researchers. According to the guidelines “every UNICA Member University can nominate one participating team following its own University-wide or country-wide entrepreneurship competition.” Therefore, in the team there could be some students that are not directly linked to the Member University of UNICA.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
2. There could be a mixed team composed of some students, some researchers and also former students that have already set up in business.
Only students and researchers that have a link with the University (former students are also eligible).

Yes.
Yes, each University will cover the expenses of its team.
The four best teams will be invited to present their business plans at the UNICA General Assembly, 6 November 2009, Paris. The travel and accommodation expenses of the teams' members shall be covered by their Universities.
It is up to each participating team to decide how many people are needed to do their presentation best. The presentation will be delivered in front of all the attendees of General Assembly.
Only the four finalist teams will do the presentation at the UNICA General Assembly
The deadline for the project submission is 20 September 2009. The project has to be submitted together with an official letter signed by the Rector/President of the University endorsing the participating team.
