University of Ljubljana

The University of Ljubljana is the first and the largest university in Slovenia. 56,000 students, enrolled into 27 faculties and academies, and more than 7,000 academic and administrative staff, are carrying out the principles of professional excellence, academic freedom, autonomy and human rights. The University covers numerous fields of studies and as well promotes interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary studies. In addition, it co-operates with various economic institutions in both the public and private sectors, with the government, local authorities and other civil institutions.
