The University College Dublin (UCD) consists of five colleges, 35 associated schools and 18 research institutes and centres, with the student body of 23,000. Each college has its own graduate school, with the mission of enhancing doctoral and post-doctoral training. University is also a strongly research orientated and aims at commercializing intellectual property and collaborating with industry, commerce and international institutions.
