Finalist & winners

UNICA would like to thank all the Universities that have enthousiastically participated at the UNICA Entrepreneurship Competition for Students and Young Researchers.

The final round of the Competition took place on Thursday, 5 November from 5.00pm to 9.30pm at the 23th floor of the Zamansky Tower, Campus Jussieu, Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris.

The three finalist teams were invited to present their business plans in front of the jury of the competition in a closed session.

The Award Ceremony of the UNICA Entrepreneurship Competition took placed on Friday, 6 November from 14:30 – 17:00, at the 24th floor of the Zamansky Tower, Université Pierre et Marie Curie.

The UNICA Entrepreneurship Competition for Students and Young Researchers awarded:

• 1st Prize (20,000€) to Maurice Coyle and Peter Briggs, from University College Dublin, for the business plan "HeyStaks Technologies Limited."
• 2nd Prize (10,000 €) to Mija Lorbek, Borut Kumperščak, Primož Rome and Živa Lacko, from University of Ljubljana, for the business plan "UNIKI Intelligent media development."
• 3rd Prize (5,000€) to Klaus Kramer and Tobias Blaschke, from Freie Universität Berlin, for the business plan "Parelectrics".
